APPEARANCE
This wine reveals a deep and intense colour with ruby highlights.
Nose
The nose is highly expressive and complex, offering aromas of black fruits such as blackberry and black cherry, blended with small red berries like cranberry.
Palate
The palate is full-bodied with good structure and silky tannins. The aromas found on the nose are present again, enhanced by a touch of sweet spices such as liquorice and cinnamon. This wine is characterised by great aromatic persistence and length.
Food & wine pairings
This wine pairs perfectly with lamb, for example a rack of lamb with rosemary. It also stands up well to stronger-flavoured meats such as venison leg, as well as spiced dishes such as a lamb curry.
